Family Pics

Uh, has it really been one week since last Sunday when I posted a sneak peek?  Sometimes I just don't know where tie goes.  I had lots of pictures that I really liked but here is just a compilation of a few from our family shoot a week and a half ago.  I really tried to be better about blogging these, but time got away from me...again...

 

Just a Teaser...

I wish that I was posting more pics for this sneak peek, but our Sunday exploded into chaos and this is what I've gotten to.  I wish that it didn't take a photo shoot to break the couple month spell of not seeing one of my dearest friends, someone who just 'gets me.'  I wish that I could've decided which pictures I like the best, but truth be told this little fam just looked to dang cute in all of them.  So here it is.  Just a teaser of what's to come...

Tis the Season

Did I mention that I love Seniors??  Because I LOVE Seniors!  Tis the Season for Senior Shoots!  They are fun, full of life, willing to do whatever--like maybe climb on a rickety, unstable stack of crates...Mwahahaha!  This insanely adorable gal was no exception.  And get this--RED HAIR!!!  I wanted to shave her head and glue it to my own.  I love, love, love her red hair.  Here's hoping my twinners hair turns out exactly like hers.  Enjoy!

 

Schoooools...Out..Fo..Summa!

Alice Cooper really isn't in my music database but as I saw this Senior pull out his school uniform it made me want to throw caution to the wind and start singing.  "Schoooools..Out..Fo..Summa"

Then we happened upon a lazy boy-ish chair that someone has left and it was all to much.  I pictured the evening jacket (aka school uniform) with a monical (spelling?) and pipe in hand.  Thank heavens for all our sakes I didn't have those things with me--not that I own a pipe..or monical, but I sure did love the uniform look.

The whole photo shoot was an absolute delight.  Yes I'm 60 and said delight.  But that's the adjective that keeps coming to mind.  Weather was perfect, Jace was photogenic, conversation was good, all in all an evening well spent.  Except for the part where I realized that I'm no longer a part of the cool music seen.  Come on!  Let's keep 'The Killers' alive!!  Brandon Flowers just came out with a new album!!  Anyone?  Anyone?

 

Candid Family PlayTime

With three little boys, my friend Annie and I thought the best way to keep their attention, would be to take pictures while they weren't paying attention!  So we had a fun night out at the park, even with my little hoodlums tagging along.  Thanks Annie for a night away from our usual Nelson hermit-dom and for the chance to hang with your cute little guys!

Janay-nay and Fam

Awwww.  What a great family!  These boys were all so sweet and gentlemanly (that's a word right?) and this little lady probably knows Andy nearly as well as I do, being that she works with him and is his BOSS!  She is so awesome and has always been so patient and understanding of our family's needs.
Thanks for letting us spend the evening with you and for putting up with our whole fam damily coming along on the photo shoot.  We can be pretty overwhelming when the clan is all together.  I think at one point I even brought up my ole pal Tori Spelling.  What is with this crazy obsession?  Like I said, Janay-nay's very patient...
